Information Overlaid is Interactive Information Ltd.'s toolkit for building rich web based interfaces. It forms the basis for a number of products including
Weasel is a straight forward package consisting of Information Overlaid and supporting documentation, tutorials and services.
Map Weasel is a package combining Information Overlaid components with software for creating web based mapping solutions.
Maps.Interactive is service giving access to maps from various supplies via Information Overlaid interfaces, allowing users to create map based interfaces without having to source and supply the maps themselves.
This manual is a reference for the basic Information Overlaid system and the additional modules supplied with it in the various packages.
Before reading this documentation you should work through the tutorials which come with the package you are using. These tutorials will introduce you to the basic structure of Information Overlaid applications and examples of the use of most parts of the system. This manual will then provide a comprehensive list of all the available functionality enabling you to move from the tutorials on to building your own applications from scratch.
