Mapping Examples

MapWeasel adds map-handling functionality to Weasel.

Here are some simple examples that show the kind of interfaces that can be quickly built using MapWeasel.

Location Plotting

This is the first tutorial example for the II mapping service, showing how the system can be made to do something useful very quickly.

Store Locator

This more interesting map application involves very little more than the simple location plotter.

Route Planner

This example is an interface which might be used to present the results of a route planning service to a user. It allows the user to step through the route or examine in detail only those places they think may cause them problems (for example complex intersections).
This example also demonstrates our signed applet technology which allows maps to be retrieved from a common server rather than the customers web site.
